Project Scope:

The McInnes Chair Refinishing Project was a detailed and precision-driven task focused on restoring wooden seats while achieving a seamless color match with the existing dining table.


Project Breakdown:

Sanding & Prep: Carefully sanded down the wooden seats to remove old finish and prepare for staining.

Custom Stain Matching: Developed a custom stain to match the dining table, overcoming the challenge of masking the red undertones in the wood to align with the light grey table, which had a yellow undertone.


Staining & Sealing:

Applied the custom stain and sealed the seats for durability and longevity.

Re-installation: Reinstalled the refinished wooden seats into their metal frames for a polished, cohesive look.
